ABOUT THE TEACHERS

Get ready to dance the night away with Sam, Natalie, and DJ Marky, well-known personalities in our salsa scene. As the organizers of the annual Newcastle Salsa Congress and social nights at the charming Bowburn Hall Hotel, as well as weekly classes in Durham, they bring years of experience and expertise to the dance floor.
Sam and Natalie will be leading us through a beginners salsa class followed by an improvers bachata routine. Then DJ Marky will keep the music flowing with a mix of classic salsa, bachata, and kizomba tunes and there will be line-ups from Sam & Natalie throughout the night. Join us for an unforgettable evening of fun with this talented trio!

THE CHOSEN CHARITY

Dementia UK has been selected as our charity for this month’s fundraiser. In Natalie’s words:
“Only those who live through dementia truly realise how devastating this disease is. I lost my dad twice. I lost the funny, witty, hugely intelligent, amazingly kind, gentle man I knew long before losing him forever.”
This specialist dementia nursing charity provides invaluable support to families through their Admiral Nurses, who offer free expert advice and understanding to anyone affected by dementia. Dementia UK aims to raise vital funds to improve care and support for families facing dementia while spreading awareness about the crucial role of their specialist dementia nurses. Join us in supporting Dementia UK's mission to ensure that no one has to face dementia alone, and every family receives the support they need.
