Get ready to dance the night away with Sam, Natalie, and DJ Marky, well-known personalities in our salsa scene. As the organizers of the annual Newcastle Salsa Congress and social nights at the charming Bowburn Hall Hotel, as well as weekly classes in Durham, they bring years of experience and expertise to the dance floor.

​

Sam and Natalie will be leading us through a beginners salsa class followed by an improvers bachata routine.

I'm a salsa dancer and teacher and I organise the Salsa for Charity events. I teach social salsa dancing because a) it's FUN and b) it does absolute WONDERS for our physical and mental wellbeing. The beginner's salsa class will run in the bar area in conjunction with the main classes.  No partner or dance experience needed.

​

DJ Marky will keep the music flowing with a fantastic mix of salsa and bachata with some kizomba and the odd merengue and cha cha if requested and there will be line-ups from Sam & Natalie throughout the night. Join us for an unforgettable evening of fun with this talented trio!

"We Can Dance" based in Darlington was established in 2000 to provide dance lessons for Children with special needs in North East England. They became a Registered Charity in 2010, focusing on young people with special educational needs, such as profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD), autism, physical disabilities, sensory impairments and behavioural difficulties.​

​THE VENUE
It has a lovely 42 x 16ft sprung dance floor and adjoining bar.

Parking is free but it is monitored so you must enter your registration number via the screen by the entrance. If you stay after midnight then please re-enter your details to avoid a fine.
