COME AND CELEBRATE
SALSA FOR CHARITY'S
Christmas is about families and especially children, so for December's event, I wanted to think of a suitable cause - something special. So I've decided to help raise £20,000 for specialised equipment to enable Alfie from Sunderland to have as normal a life as possible.
6 year old Alfie has Bilateral Spastic Cerebral Palsy. It is becoming very hard for his family to carry him up and down the stairs for bed every night as he is growing and becoming too big. The family have spoken with the local council who have now given permission for a lift to be installed, that will take Alfie directly into his bedroom. But this is not funded by the government, so to have this done, they need to raise the funds.
They have partnered with the Bradley Lowery Foundation who will collect all funds raised on Alfie's behalf and then funds will be paid directly to the builders and lift companies on the family's behalf.
This will make a huge difference to Alfie. If you can help by supporting this event, the family will be eternally grateful.
Now who to ask to be the guest teacher? A lot of you will know Greg Abouna because he's very popular, he's great fun and always has a smile on his face. I can guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face too. If you've never done salsa before, he will teach you the basics, and then he will help you if you want to improve your salsa too.
You can also enjoy dancing to the usual great mix of music by DJ Pablito
