ABOUT THE TEACHERS

Richard has been teaching predominantly cross body style Salsa for 18 years, and with his partner Angela, they run and host weekly classes alongside their ever popular Salsa on Sunday events in Penrith, Cumbria. Richard sadly lost his Dad a few years ago and when he was asked which charity he would like to award the money to, there was no hesitation, Hospice at Home.

The caring and compassionate carers from Hospice at Home supported Richard's Dad, Norman, in the final stages of his life, comforting him, and helping Richard's Mum take a well earned rest from the constant caring for Norman.

THE CHOSEN CHARITY

Established in 1997, Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland is a registered charity providing high quality, palliative care and support to patients, family members and carers affected by life limiting illness. Its largest service is its nursing team which consists of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants who are skilled in providing nursing care and support in the last year of life and at the end of life.

As with many charities, they rely on fundraising events like this one, to help provide their invaluable services. This is why your support would really be appreciated.

TIMINGS

7:45pm - Beginners/Improvers Salsa

8:35pm - Intermediate Salsa
9:15pm - Social dancing and party until midnight with a mix of Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba
