'The Barnes' is an iconic landmark in Sunderland and is situated on the main A690 into the city centre.
There is a large free car park at the venue but it is monitored so you must enter your registration number via the screen in the bar.
If you stay after midnight then please re-enter your details to avoid a fine.
There is a fantastic 42 feet x 16 feet sprung dance floor and a lovely adjoining bar area where you can relax and chat with friends.
To get directions to the venue.
Click on 'View larger map'
on map then
click on 'Directions'
and type in 'Your Location'.
The entrance to the function room is on the left hand side of the building, then just follow the sound of the music up the stairs.
